Situated just about thirty minutes north of Washington D.C., the city of Baltimore beckons as one of the most pristine and unique cities on the East Coast of the United States. The city is well known in industry for its large seaport and, because of it geography, it is the most accessible seaport for the closer Midwestern states. For most of its existence as a city, Baltimore has been known for its strength in manufacturing and industry, with Bethlehem Steel as one of its leading manufacturing companies. Driving along Interstate I-95, the highway that runs along the edge of the city, one is instantly struck by the wealth of manufacturing facilities just a few miles from its busy seaport. The development of the city’s Inner Harbor, which now includes the acclaimed Baltimore National Aquarium, hotels, convention centers, and other attractions, stands as the city’s feature attraction. The professional sports franchises in the city have also built beautiful, new sports arenas and parks in recent years that are designed in the spirit of old-time ballparks and football fields. This nostalgic venue for watching sports attracts local fans and tourists alike.

About USMLE Test
The United States Medical Licensing Examination, or USMLE, is a standardized exam that is sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards and the National Board of Medical Examiners. All medical doctors must take and pass the USMLE in order to be licensed to practice medicine in the United States. Rather than administering the test in one sitting, the USMLE is gives in three steps in order to thoroughly evaluate a prospective doctor. All three of the steps must be passed before a medical student can become a doctor.
Step one of the exam tests concepts such as Anatomy, Behavioral sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Interdisciplinary topics, such as nutrition, genetics, and aging. Step one assesses a test taker’s application of medical knowledge. Step three is a two-day examination that determines whether or not an applicant can function in the practice of medicine in an unsupervised manner. Because this exam is so critical and comprehensive, working one-on-one with a USMLE tutor can be a tremendous advantage.
