In a professional setting all e-mails should be responded to within 24 hours. For e-mails sent on a weekend within 72 hours might be acceptable. However most tutors if they are interested will respond as soon as the receive a message. If you don't get a response within about 24 hours its best to assume the tutor is no longer interested in tutoring, is unprofessional, or too busy and search for a new tutor. While
