I have been a tutor and/or an instructor for most of my college and professional career, starting in 1998. I currently work at two area colleges, teaching ESL, developmental English, and first year English courses. I like to get to know the student to see where strengths and weaknesses lie, as well as potential interests. I have had a full range of students, from those not quite ready for the college experience to graduate level students, from many different experiences and backgrounds. I will be ready for whatever challenges my new students bring. Just be ready to learn and work hard. It'll be worth it.
