I like working with the teacher knowing what is expected of you in each assingment so I can help you better with reading, math, spelling, social studies, history, art, or just looking up words. I can be more useful if I know what is going on, and given good instuctions as to what is expected of me. Good communication is what I expect so I can help you better with your work. I like working with students and have helped lots of students before. My name is Ruth. I had 5 children of my own and two grandsons and am happily married. My children are raised already and have good jobs do to the fact of me being involved in their education. I have furthered my education by going to college and earning my associate degree and along with that have taken a lot of child development classes to learn more about educating children all ages and even the ones who are mentaly challenged. I do a little tests to see what reading grade level you are at which tells me where I need to start working with you to help you get better and to be where you are supposed to be my training was done through American River College through the turtoring class I took over there. My first goal is to make sure you are comfortable with me and that we understand each other, second goal is to relax you so we can complete each assingment you need help with to make you better at what you are doing. Thank you for your time hope to hear from you.
