The most important aspect for parents and future tutees is to find a tutor who can cater to their specific needs; a tutor that can supplement what is being taught in schools but on a more personalized level. I know that as a teacher we strive to educate students as best as we can, but due to all kinds of obstacles (timing, illness, and even school events), our experiences in the classroom may not be satisfying. This is where tutors can help! We fill in that gap between what is being taught in school and what can be better explained with a little 1 on 1 session.

I truly enjoy the English language and teaching. Reading, writing, and analyzing literature has been a passion of mine since I was very young. I have spent many hours with high school students better understand their assignments and literary goals. Through various internships, I have been able to gain experience with a wide range of student needs and many methods to teach English subjects. Some struggle with vocabulary and others struggle with understanding, but with a little help I believe we can reach our goals.

Through my experiences within the education field, I have been able to reach out to students through differentiated teaching, creating individualized lessons and techniques to make that "click" between our books and brains happen. It is not my goal to just give you answers and call it a day. My goal is teach you ways to make your own inferences and internalize these lessons for future reference. My goal is to make better readers, writers, and critical thinkers so when you need to write another paper or analyze another book, you will rise for the challenge!

Happy reading and writing!
