Currently, I am a sophomore at Santa Monica College with plans to transfer to the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall of 2013. I have experience in many subjects; however, my main interest lies in English. I have tutored students ranging from the ages of 6-36, therefore I have experience working with almost any age level. I worked, last semester, as a TA for a college level remedial English class. Many of the students I have worked with suffer from learning disabilities, ranging from ADHD to Dyslexia. Within the area of English, my expertise lies in the areas of essay writing (structure, development, etc.), literary analysis, vocabulary development, spelling and grammar.

I have experience working with both individuals and groups. My approach to tutoring is very individualized and is meant to conform to the needs of each and every student that I have the chance to work with. As a guide in your or your child's learning, I hope to awaken a love for the English language. To me, there is nothing more amazing than seeing a student grasp a concept, at which they previously struggled. I hope that you will allow me to take part in your or your child's educational journey, and I thank you for your interest.
