Hello!

As a recent graduate of University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, I am excited to learn and teach students in the in my community.

I have acquired fundamental skills and knowledge for gainful employment through my experience in educating students ranging from day care age to high school. I have worked in the field of education for the past 4 years and loved every minute of it. With the younger children I value the idea of learning through play, for I find that this is the most influential and beneficial way to teacher children of that age. Patience is key with younger youth and I believe I emanate that characteristic. I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve spent with my students during my employment and care deeply about their futures. Older children have a special place in my heart as well. I have worked with all school ages and find that my strength with them is in the mathematics and science. I have a strong passion to get the students that I come in contact with on the levels they need to be at. I care about their futures and take their education seriously by making it my mission for them to understand the importance as well. Me being an energetic, fun, yet serious teacher have been perceived well with my students and had made every moment worthwhile. My desire to help the youth of this generation gives me hope. I keep this hope alive by identifying with my students and letting them know that they can always keep in contact with me for help long after our involvement.
