I am a freelance professional ballet and contemporary dancer. Having grown up in the arts (almost double majoring in flute performance as well as dance), I strive to include art in the everyday lives of young children. I have been teaching flute and dance since I was in high school, and have experience with students ages 3-adult. Having received my Bachelor's degree from a prestigious University, I know the importance of receiving a well-rounded education. Therefore I try to implement an all around good work ethic and focus for my students while showing them the fun of learning dance and music. I have attended pre-professional dance intensives in Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, Irvine, and New York, and have experience playing in multiple honorary music groups such as the National Honor Band and the Northern California Flute Camp, Carmel Valley, CA. As a "struggling artist" recently graduated from college, teaching is one of the great ways for me to not only share everything that I have learned thus far but also for me to afford living on my own!
