Hi! I am a tutor with a passion for the English language and I love helping others to improve their skills in this subject. I enjoy working with students from all over the globe in my capacity as ESL instructor at two different schools in the Philadelphia area. I have also taught in Korea for two years and in China for two months, two amazing experiences that I will never forget.

My approach is best described as friendly, yet focused. My students say I make them feel relaxed and comfortable, but that we accomplish a lot. Generally, my students prefer to study using test preparation books. I have several that I can recommend, or we could work with a book that you have already purchased.

I have been teaching TOEFL for three years and SAT for one year. My SAT verbal score was in the 99th percentile and my GRE verbal score was in the 94th percentile. I guess you could say I have an affinity for standardized tests, as dorky as that may sound. My students' scores have increased dramatically with weekly tutoring. It is truly a privilege to help my students to achieve their goals and to see their progress.
