Hello, I am a professional educator with over a decade of experience in high school and college-level mathematics.
When assisting students, I always try to work from a concrete point of view before moving to the abstract perspective. I find that this helps my student construct the knowledge themselves, rather than simply memorizing a formula.
I am familiar with many of the technological tools that are currently being used in math education, including Texas Instruments and Casio graphing calculators, and I use them on a regular basis with my classes. I have also created over 300 YouTube videos to assist my students and anybody else that happens to view them.
