I am a teacher and a mother and I care about education, learning and how this process can assist us in becoming more confident within ourselves. I am a patient perfectionist, always willing to remain calmly in the present moment as we enjoy the growth that can take place when love is present with any activity. I am also a published writer, so I know what it takes to create something from start to finish. (See my novel RUNNING IN THE RAIN on amazon.com). I am also nearly finished with a handbook I am writing as well as a second novel. I love reading and writing myself and so am naturally inspired to share these subjects with others. My husband of 20 years is dyslexic, and so I can also understand the struggles people can have with these subjects. I am a certified secondary English teacher and simply adore all that school is about. (I am a school geek!). But more importantly, I know how to offer balance to any given situation. For example, if a student is naturally active, I bring calm. If a student is shy, I can bring out more of my energy for inspiration. Above all, I like to have fun and remain positive, without taking anything too seriously. When we are relaxed, learning occurs naturally and easily and we are more likely to remember the information that is important for our success.

PS: I also home-schooled my girls for 5 years in all subjects. Now that was fun. ;-) And because we home-schooled, my home is rich with resources and materials for all levels and subjects.
