I graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in History and a Concentration in Comparative Religion, respectively. I am currently a volunteer assistant teacher in Columbia University's Community Impact program. My tutoring style is vigorous (i.e., I require dedicated students with a strong desire to succeed). I am not overbearing, but I do expect students to be prepared and to take our sessions seriously. My approach varies: some days, we will be diving into books; other days, we may read the cover of the NY Times and engage in rigorous debate. With my tutoring, students will become proficient in reading comprehension, writing, rhetoric and philosophical analysis. Students will be provided with the tools necessary to pursue an undergraduate or graduate Ivy League education.
