I am a recent graduate who is a knowledgeable tutor in several different fields. I am twenty-five years old and I have been a successful student all of my life. Now I am in the beginning of my career as a successful teacher and tutor. My tutoring approach is all about patience. I understand that every student understands things at a different pace. I know that tutoring is about finding the correct pace and the correct approach for each individual student. I will have no problem switching things up and finding a new angle to approach the material when changes need to be made. I am a certified teacher grades 7-12 for English and social studies, but my skills are not limited to those two areas. American/European history, Literature, and all kinds of writing are currently my main areas of expertise, but I am constantly working towards broadening my knowledge, skills, and experience in all fields. I promise that if you choose me as your tutor, I will work tirelessly to help you improve and succeed in whatever areas you need help in, and hopefully even have some fun while doing it. For me, tutoring isn't just telling you what to do or simply how to do it. Tutoring is working together to help you build the skills you need to succeed. I would never ask a student to work hard if I was not doing the same.
