I am a professional MATH tutor, currently retired from working as an engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. I received a degree in Physics from Caltech. I am patient, methodical and very good at teaching. I promote and encourage self confidence and belief in the student's own abilities. My teaching approach often focuses on motivating the student and making the tutoring session pleasant and helpful in an effort to give the student a feeling of accomplishment. I concentrate on viewing the subject matter from the student’s point of view, and I teach using that as a template. I have tutored students in the following subjects:
