Recently retired university professor with 15+ years experience as an MCAT content contributor in Organic Chemistry and Bio-Organic Chemistry is available for Individual and Group online tutoring. Tutoring sessions are held via interactive Skype with screen-sharing. In order to participate in online tutoring sessions students must have (i) a personal Skype ID and (ii) a personal computer equipped with internet access and a functioning webcam and microphone.

Summary of Experience: Tutor taught sophomore (2nd year) organic chemistry and special topics graduate courses in organic chemistry (M. S. and Ph. D. level) at two major U. S. four-year universities with graduate programs during a 37 year career in teaching and research. Author of 6 books and 328 research publications in peer-reviewed international Chemistry journals.

Teaching Style: Online tutoring is designed specifically to help students who seek to improve their proficiency in organic and bio-organic chemistry in preparation for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and/or the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).

Course Materials: Review materials are included and are furnished to each student in advance of each tutorial meeting to help ensure that the student is prepared to discuss specific topics in some depth. The topics covered in the review materials will be explored during each tutorial session. Students also are provided with sample exam questions designed to test the examinee's critical understanding of the subject matter presented in the review materials. Answers to sample exam questions also are provided.
