Two of my lifelong passions are inspiring others to succeed and mathematics. Whatever you or your child's plans are, it is my joy to help you get there! I have 30+ years experience teaching and tutoring all levels of mathematics students from elementary through college including test prep (SAT, ACT, GED, and college entrance) and those from public, private, and home schools with a wide variety of learning or special needs as well as challenging the gifted. Some of my students include people who are now successful musicians, dancers, doctors and military personnel who needed to either 'get past the math' or 'maximize their test taking skills' to succeed. I use a multi-faceted approach to problem solving and retention, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique learning style. I have a B.A in mathematics (summa cum laude) from Mt. St. Mary College where I earned the mathematics student of the year award, tutored, and taught BASIC programming to teachers thru the NSF. Additional note: I homeschooled my 4 children K-12 and they have all since gone on to college and earned degrees with honors.
