I have 10 years experience as a reading specialist in the elementary classroom. I tutor with a research-based instruction that has proven results. It is a complementary enhancement to basals. The concepts are introduced incrementally, ensuring long-term achievement. My key to success is the explicit instruction in critical foundational skills such as high-frequency words, phonics and phonemic awareness, spelling, alphabetizing, handwriting, and fluency instruction.
