I am a medical school graduate (United States M.D.) with a strong background in the biological, physical, and medical sciences. I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in mathematics and reading as well as more advanced subjects such as chemistry and physics. I have worked as a high school chemistry and physics teacher in D.C. where I prepared my own unique curriculum, delivered engaging lectures, and helped students reach their full potential in the physical sciences. I also have experience working as a Medical College Admission Test instructor/tutor, helping pre-medical students succeed on this difficult exam in order to gain entrance into medical school.

I am currently taking a sabbatical from medicine in order to explore my interests in writing and teaching. Whether it be help with study skills and motivation, or breakdown of difficult science topics, I can help your student achieve their full potential. My style of teaching combines formal instruction/explanations of the material with engaging practice where we work with the material to make it "stick". This style is very efficient and has worked effectively for my students in the past.
