I have been teaching for six years. I am currently appropriately certified and highly qualified to teach middle school and high school math. During my six years of teaching I have taught 7th grade math, pre-algebra, and algebra 1 for high school credit.

In addition to my six years of teaching experience I have also completed over 800 hours in the classroom, teaching various levels of education and subjects to students, through supervised internships and student teaching assignments. For the past fifteen years I have worked with children ages 18 months to adults as a gymnastics coach, a day camp counselor, a cheer coach, a soccer coach, and as a math tutor. From these experiences I have acquired valuable teaching and instructional skills that provide me with a foundation for sound program development and assessment, and also allow me to provide positive learning experiences for children. I have created lasting bonds with these children, and have acted as a caring, supportive instructor, as well as a role model that they respect. Through these positions I have developed people and time management skills.
