Hello,
My name is Andrew, and I provide academic tutoring and standardized test preparation for middle school and high school students. I am also available to provide college entrance preparation for high school students.
I am a professional technical writer with an academic background in English, history, physics, and mechanical and electrical engineering. Needless to say, I was able to pursue a lot of varied college coursework. It was a fun time.
Presently, I am offering test preparation (SAT, SAT subject tests, PSAT, ACT, and SSAT) and academic tutoring in the following areas:
- AP-level coursework: calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, English language and English literature, history, and economics
- High school coursework: mathematics, sciences, social sciences, language arts, literature, and writing
- Middle school coursework: mathematics, sciences, social sciences, language arts, literature, and writing
Former students have gone on to find success at UT-Austin, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, The University of Chicago, University of Dallas, and elsewhere.
Tutoring and test preparation sessions may be scheduled for both individuals and groups. A group discount may apply for multiple students requiring assistance in the same class. Please contact me for more information about scheduling group sessions.
Typically, I will sit down with the student and, for MS/HS students, at least one parent, for a no-fee consultation to assess needs and expectations. This meeting may be followed by a trial session for a total of 1.5 hours.
Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like any additional information.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Andrew
