I have been tutoring as a work-study at the college I am attending until the federal funding was removed. I carry a 4.0 GPA and have excellent study skills. I have worked with others on English (MLA and APA), math (everyday and Algebra and below), research skills, medical technology, anatomy and physiology, critical thinking skills, GED prep, and general Microsoft Office skills.

I am very independent with each student and plan a strategy that works for the individual. I believe that each student learns in their own way and I continue to try different options until I find the best approach to learning for that student.

I find it very important to celebrate all the successes along the way, both the small and big accomplishments. I am excellent at helping my students gain confidence in themselves through the learning process.

I have 3 grown sons and have worked with them throughout their lives, up to and including their college work.

I have been a nanny for 4 1/2 years and have used many homeschooling concepts in my approach to helping them succeed in preschool and elementary school.

I am very flexible and available. I can commit for both short term and long term assignments.
