Hi! I am a graduate student at Stanford currently doing research in Atlanta. I've had a passion for teaching and tutoring since I was in college. My college years were spent working as a teacher's assistant in an elementary school. I would perform one-on-one tutoring for kindergartners and first graders who were struggling in class. In addition to teaching, I was a personal nanny for a family of three. After picking up the kids from school, I would work with them individually on their homework assignments. Just a few years ago, I had the pleasure of co-teaching a college course with undergraduates and graduate students in epidemiology and environmental science. As someone who has written many essays, I am also interested in helping high school students with their college essays, as well as creating a portfolio for college admissions. My methods vary depending on your needs and learning style. Aside from teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, love pets, and have a passion for traveling.
