I attended four different colleges before I found the school that was right for me. This decision to find the learning path that worked for me is a testament to my desire to work with students in ways that are right for them. Every student learns differently and at various paces, and it is my belief that we all need some extra help at one point or another. Personally, I was the student that could be found in the offices of my teachers, or in the tutoring centers trying to understand things more clearly. This extra work paid off, as I graduated magna cum laude and was chosen as the outstanding graduate of English.

I have worked with students from middle school to non-traditional college students who needed specific attention. I would be happy to work with 6th graders through college students on English or Language Arts based assignments, ranging from homework to term papers. My positive attitude and helpful ideas will hopefully leave students with a better feeling about a subject that I struggled with myself.
