There is no city in the United States that captures the true essence of the American dream better than New York City. Since 1886, the magnificent Statue of Liberty has kept watch over New York Harbor, beckoning millions of immigrants from all over the world who came to the U.S. to grab their little piece of the dream. Today, New York remains one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse cities in the world, and the five boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Staten Island, are home to a brilliant and distinct spectrum of people who bring their own culture, music, lifestyle, and language to “The Big Apple.”
More than any other city, New York truly personifies the idea of a metropolis. Its formidable skyline of towering skyscrapers includes landmark after landmark of modern engineering and architecture: both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building rise stoically among the other towers and spires, while the memory of the hallowed World Trade Center always remains in the heart of the city. New York is also home to many American institutions, such as the New York Yankees, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Wall Street, and Broadway, as well as the United Nations, a symbol of international unity.
The influence and expansiveness of New York is so far-reaching that even the surrounding cities and town are considered to be a part of its culture and identity. On the New Jersey side of the harbor, towns like Jersey City, Hackensack, Poukeepsie, New Brunswick, and Newark, home to one of the largest international airports in the world, are all considered satellites of the city, while the glamorous towns of Long Island, such as Long Beach, Levittown, Huntington, and the Hamptons have become the new playground for the rich and elite. New York City is also within close proximity to Connecticut towns like Hartford and Bridgeport, which capture the picaresque charm of New England.

About LSAT Test
The Law School Admission Test, or LSAT, is a standardized test administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) that evaluated the aptitude and knowledge base of prospective law students. Similar to the GMAT or GRE exams for students who wish to be admitted to graduate schools, the LSAT exam is a requirement for all American Bar Association-approved law schools in the United States. As a result, any student who wishes to eventually practice law must take this test.
The LSAT features four major scored sections that include logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and analytical reasoning, an unscored experimental section, and an unscored writing section. The lowest possible score is 120, with a highest possible score of 180. The median score is about 151. While the LSAT score is not the only criteria for being accepted into a law school, it is still an important evaluative tool.
