About SSAT Test

The Secondary School Admission Test, or SSAT, is a standardized test that is administered to students in grades 5 to 11 in order to determine their aptitude for being admitted into independent and private junior high and high schools in the United States. There are two levels offered on the SSAT: the lower level test, which is designed for students in grades 5 to 7, and an upper level test, which is designed for students in grades 8 to 11.

The SSAT test itself is comprised of two main sections: a brief essay and a comprehensive multiple-choice section that tests mathematics, reading comprehension, and verbal skills.
