About Houston, TX
The state of Texas is a big place, full of grandiose dreams and larger-than-life figures. From the bravery of the Alamo, to the Texas oil rush, to famous Presidents of the United States, Texas is responsible for helping to create the strong, unmistakable identity that represents the U.S. throughout the world. After all, no figure seems more American than the cowboy, and Texas is the state made famous by these cattle-rustling heroes. Still, many people – including Americans themselves – might be surprised to know that Houston is in fact the fourth largest city in the union. Named after the famed Sam Houston, the former president of the Republic of Texas who fought bravely against the Mexican army, Houston is the largest, most cultured city in Texas, and its surrounding metropolitan region is home to more than five million people, a number that dwarfs even Los Angeles. Although it is a large, cosmopolitan city, containing a myriad of headquarters for multi-national corporations as well as the mission control center for NASA at Johnson Space Center, Houston still has enough down-home, Texas charm to make you feel as though you’re down on the range.
Houston is a unique city, designed with the principles of freedom in mind. Rather than creating a centralized business district, Houston developed into multiple commercial districts, such as downtown, the East End, Uptown, Midtown, the Texas Medical Center district, the Energy Corridor, Greenway Plaza, Westchase, and Greenspoint. The presence of the Texas Medical Center, which boasts the largest concentration of healthcare researchers in the world, as well as several reputable academic institutions, sets Houston apart as a bastion of education in Texas. Surrounding cities include Channelview, La Porte, Seabrook, Pasadena, League City, Friendswood, Pearland, Missouri City, Spring, Humble, Meadows, Stafford, Kay, Rosenberg, Baytown and Aldine.

About ISEE Test
The Independent School Entrance Examination, or ISEE, is a standardized entrance exam that is used by many private and independent schools to evaluate prospective students during the admissions process. The ISEE is offered at three levels: a lower level, for grades 5 to 6, a middle level, for grades 7 to 8, and an upper level, for grades 9-12. Regardless of the test level, the ISEE tests five distinct academic skill sets: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, and mathematics achievement. An essay section is also offered on the exam as well. All in all, the test takes approximately two hours and forty-five minutes to administer.
The concept of the ISEE exam is to give schools a perspective on the level and aptitude of a prospective student. Therefore, there is little studying that can be done to dramatically improve the score of a test taker. There are, however, several valuable strategies and techniques that can be learned in order for a student to maximize their final score. The best way to learn these techniques is to work one-on-one with an ISEE tutor.
Whether you are a young child, a teenager, a university student, or a professional adult and are seeking help in ISEE Exam, our tutors can assist you. Our professional tutors have advanced degrees or extensive training in ISEE Exam and can tutor and help in subject areas such as verbal reasoning, essay writing, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, and mathematics achievement.
