About Dallas, TX
“Live Large. Think Big.” That is Dallas’ official motto, and they live by it. Even though Dallas is only the third largest city in the state of Texas, the lives up to this credo as a city with a big heart and bold identity. Although Dallas is an inland city that lacks any port, it is internationally rated as a global city, and remains a major player in the petroleum, telecommunications, computer technology, banking, and transportation industries all over the world. The emphasis on commerce and industry is so focused in Dallas that it is currently the third most popular business travel destination in the United States. The Dallas Convention center in downtown Dallas is among the busiest in the country.
Like most cities in America, Dallas is a city of neighborhoods. The central Downtown district is the urban hub of the city, with various neighborhoods growing out from its center. Oak Lawn and the Uptown area of Dallas is the most modern and trendy, whereas the West End Historic District, Arts District, the Main Street District, and Farmers Market District captures more of an old-world Texas charm. Surrounding cities include: Mesquite Garland, Rowlett, Richardson, Plano, Rockwell, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Bedford, and North Richland Hills. This entire metropolitan area of Dallas, though densely populated and urbane, Dallas still has the look and feel of a true Texas town.

About ACT Test
While most high schools prepare their college-preparatory-level students to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT as it is commonly referred to, the ACT Exam is an alternative to the SAT. Developed in 1959, ACT utilizes a different testing format and is designed to give students who scored low on the SAT’s an opportunity to demonstrate their academic knowledge on a different kind of test. Although it is not widely known, the ACT Exam is accepted at most 4-year colleges in America as an acceptable standardized testing format. The exam covers four major academic subjects: English, Math, Reading, and Science. Recently, the ACT Exam also added an optional writing test as well, similar to the writing test that is now offered on the SAT.
Because it has been determined that testing and exams are an imperfect means of evaluating a student’s academic knowledge and prowess, considering the ACT Exam as an alternative to the SAT can be a tremendous benefit to a high school level student who feels they underperformed on the SAT due to its testing format. While the ACT Exam is not usually discussed or prepared for in most high schools, working one-on-one with an ACT Exam tutor can effectively prepare a student to do their best on the exam.
Whether you are a university student or a professional adult and are seeking help in ACT Exam, our tutors can assist you. Our professional tutors have advanced degrees or extensive training in ACT Exam and can tutor and help in subject areas such as English, Math, Reading, Science Reasoning, and Writing. Instruction and homework help in ACT Exam is offered in various cities and towns such as Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and others.
