About Austin, TX
Most great cities in the United States have an official motto that accurately portrays the identity of its inhabitants. In Austin’s case, their motto is, “Keep Austin weird.” To be sure, Austin is by far the most artistic and eclectic city in Texas, and has fast become one of the cultural centers of the United States. While the city is well known for its commerce and industry, with a particular emphasis on technology (the city has been dubbed “Silicon Hills” in recent years due to its prowess in the technology sector), Austin is best known as “The Live Music Capital of the World.” The city is peppered with live music venues, bars, and nightclubs, all of which feature a diverse range of music from country to rock. The city is also home to South by Southwest, an annual music conference and showcase that has become the most followed and sought after, even above the famous CMJ music conference in New York City.
In spite of the fact that Austin is growing and expanding in size and importance year after year, Austinites have a sincere desire to “stay weird,” and one of the ways in which they try to buck the trends of American growth is by focusing on developing small businesses and steering away from encouraging large multi-national corporations into their town. As a result, this down-home, grass roots ideology filters down into the tight-knit communities and neighborhoods that comprise the city. Towns such as Sunset Valley, Del Valle, West Lake Hills, Jollyville, Hornsby Bend, Lakeway, Elgin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Webberville all capture the true essence of this one-of-a-kind Texan city.

About ACT Test
While most high schools prepare their college-preparatory-level students to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT as it is commonly referred to, the ACT Exam is an alternative to the SAT. Developed in 1959, ACT utilizes a different testing format and is designed to give students who scored low on the SAT’s an opportunity to demonstrate their academic knowledge on a different kind of test. Although it is not widely known, the ACT Exam is accepted at most 4-year colleges in America as an acceptable standardized testing format. The exam covers four major academic subjects: English, Math, Reading, and Science. Recently, the ACT Exam also added an optional writing test as well, similar to the writing test that is now offered on the SAT.
Because it has been determined that testing and exams are an imperfect means of evaluating a student’s academic knowledge and prowess, considering the ACT Exam as an alternative to the SAT can be a tremendous benefit to a high school level student who feels they underperformed on the SAT due to its testing format. While the ACT Exam is not usually discussed or prepared for in most high schools, working one-on-one with an ACT Exam tutor can effectively prepare a student to do their best on the exam.
Whether you are a university student or a professional adult and are seeking help in ACT Exam, our tutors can assist you. Our professional tutors have advanced degrees or extensive training in ACT Exam and can tutor and help in subject areas such as English, Math, Reading, Science Reasoning, and Writing. Instruction and homework help in ACT Exam is offered in various cities and towns such as Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and others.
