My name is Ralph and I graduated Stanford with my B.A. and M.A. in four years. I have over five years of experience tutoring. I started in high school where I earned the Silver Cord award for tutoring in classes, the SATs, and the FCAT (Florida's standardized test). I carried my passion for helping others to college, where I spent my first summer as a camp counselor at Crossroads 4 Kids. Here, I gained experience working with many special-needs children. I also served as a Phoenix Scholar mentor, where I helped students write essays and apply to top colleges.

My approach to tutoring involves exploring the subject matter through a variety of different lenses. I help you understand the material rather than just memorize it. I will act as your guide, pushing you to figure out the problem on your own. For complicated problems, we will figure out a step-by-step method to solving it that you can take to every other problem. I teach you how to work smarter, not harder.
