I am a mother of three children ages pre-k into elementary school with a background education in English literature and journalism. In addition, I am a leisure artist and avid crafter with the children.

My approach is to first recognize the specific goal of the student/family and learn the personality of the student. I am typically very hands-on in my approach, demonstrative and fun. This could involve an experiment for science and other applicable activities for math. I like to correlate sounds with objects and other words when encouraging spelling and reading goals. I have experience with children ages 2-12.
