I am a recent graduate of Hamilton College with a B.A. in neuroscience and a minor in English. At Hamilton, neuroscience is an interdisciplinary major with a broad curriculum, meaning that I took a wide variety of science and math courses, including partial variable calculus, organic chemistry, genetics, and cellular neurobiology. Because I went to a liberal arts college, I took many humanities courses as well. I would argue that my education is well-rounded enough that I am capable of tutoring almost any subject. Also at Hamilton, I was a tutor for 3 years in the writing center, where I had two-way, in-depth conversations with students about clarity, concision, and level of analysis of their papers.
