Hi! My name is Soomin. I graduated from college back in 2010 with a Biochemistry degree. During my college career, I was in the Honors program for all three years and graduated with suma cum laude with a 3.93 GPA. I have extensive experience tutoring kids and students of all levels, from elementary school to college. I enjoy interacting with people and am patient when it comes to learning.

In the beginning, I like to get a feel for where the students stands. I like to talk to the student about what he/she needs help with the most and what he is wanting out of this tutoring experience. Once I find out where to begin, I start out with tutoring what the student is learning in class. Throughout the tutoring sessions, I keep on track with class, but I extrapolate the information and bring different kinds of problems that are relevant to the topic. Most of the time, students find this very useful because it prepares them for quiz and test questions.
