I have been tutoring for 5 years on and off. Most of my work has been in math from elementary levels to high school seniors in calculus. I am very big on keeping an organized folder of all work and separating the lessons by the tests taken so everything is easy to find. I am majoring in mathematics as well as brain and cognitive sciences, where my focus is child development, trying to understand how children learn and what the best approaches are to teaching each individual. My methods change depending upon the student and how they are progressing, utilizing basics like flashcards or making a more personalized method.

In addition, I have also been teaching swim lessons for 3 years. I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years at both club and high school levels.
