I have a passion for teaching, a love for learning, and an excellence in explaining difficult concepts in clear and meaningful way to students. I have the belief that all students have the ability to understand anything and succeed, it just takes practice and putting in their best efforts. When I tutor students, I make sure to keep the atmosphere calm yet interesting. I explain not only how to do the problem, but why the problem matters and how it relates to everything else they've previously learned. I engage students by asking critical questions pertaining to the subject which allows the student to effectively develop confidence and mastery.
I have been tutoring part time during my attendance at Drexel University for about 2 years. I have graduated and I am tutoring full time in the following subject areas:
Math:
Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, III, IV, AP Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Statistics, Differential Equations I, II, SAT Math, GRE Math, etc.
Physics:
Kinematics (Newton's Laws), Fundamentals of Physics I, II, III, Quantum Mechanics I , II, III, Physics Laboratory, Advanced Physics Laboratory, etc.
A bit about my own interests, I like to play RTS video games like Starcraft II, Ages of Empires, etc.
I love Sim City and I love science fiction shows like Star Trek TNG and VOY. My passion for science has arisen from early childhood exposure to futuristic technology in science fiction TV shows and I have decided to base my career goal on that. I plan to be a researcher to make sci-fi technology a reality. The Big 5 technology that I am planning to work on are: Warp Drives, Teleportation, Holograms, Replicators, and Force Fields.
