Hi,

I am a Psychology major at George Mason University, one class away from finishing up a B.A. in Psychology and am in the process of getting credits to teach in Virginia. I have tutored and mentored students for more than five years in Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Physics, Chemistry, English and ESL.

I believe tutoring is a really helpful and useful addition to class and studying by oneself because it is reviewing class material once again and it is a way for students to be accountable to yet another person who knows the answers to their questions and can help them work to that answer as well.

I will not only help students with the specific questions they have, as a great believer in the Internet's vast online resources, I will also suggest websites and videos related to their subjects for their own personal studying. I am prompt in my replies, usually less than 24 hours, am very patient and willing to try out different ways to work with someone having difficulty with the material we are covering.
