My name is Krista McClellan and I am 26 years old. I graduated from Boston University in 2009 with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and have been training and working as an opera singer for the past 7 years. I have been a musician my whole life, both band and vocal, and have taught kids as young as 5 through adults age 70. I was a substitute teacher and also a music specialist at Burgundy Farm Country Day School in Alexandria, where I worked with grades pre-K through 8 in all subjects. I love kids and am not one of those people who make them feel like kids-- I always treat them with respect and maturity. I am bilingual in English and Portuguese, and also speak intermediate Italian. I have references that I can provide on your request.
