My name is Ian and I've just graduated from MSU Denver with a degree in Political Science, and will be attending grad school in the fall. Until recently I worked for a state representative at the Colorado House of Representatives. I was not a great high school student, and didn't hit my stride until college. This experience has taught me that students who aren't thriving need support to get them over the learning-hump. I can provide a safe, encouraging environment for you or your student to learn in, while delivering rigorous instruction in some of the social sciences (civics, US government, social studies, etc), communication (speech, essay writing, grammar and reading), and general learning habits. In my spare time I play the guitar, banjo, and ukulele, which I'm happy to tutor as well.
