Hello! I'm Kristi and would LOVE to acquire more students. I'm patient and love teaching, so if you are willing to learn, then I'm the perfect choice if you're looking for someone with a well rounded artistic education and experiences.
ACTING: For the past 8 years I've spend my time in improv and acting in Chicago, having performed, directed, coached and currently run as well as coach the GTT Improv Zoo program at Gorilla Tango Theater. I am capable of helping anyone hone their acting skills (discovery, monologues, character voices) or help perfect their comedic timing for auditions. This includes children and adults. I also taught improv classes at St. Xavier University.
GRAPHIC DESIGN: Since 1995 I've been employed as a graphic designer either in a design firm or have freelanced. I'm able to consult you on many of the design programs on a Mac or help you learn the art side of graphic design. I've also taught the graphic design and marketing classes at St. Xavier University.
PHOTOSHOP: I can help you learn how to simply edit those photos the correct way for the format that you want to use them in. Want to retouch that zit off your forehead? No problem! Want to restore that photo of your grandparents? I can teach you how to do that! Want to put your face on the body of a super model? Right on! I can show you those techniques too.
DRAWING: I can help you draw better by changing the way you look at a subject. My specialty is black and white pencil and I'm happy to share some samples.
