With 3 years of experience working with college level students in the math and sciences, as well as a year’s worth of experience working with elementary level students, I am confident in my abilities to tutor all age levels. I have worked at the University of Florida as a one-on-one tutor and have learned to conform and adapt my lesson plan to each student’s capabilities. I truly understand what students require to learn concepts that they might have initially struggled with. I also have tutored at Williston Elementary school in the areas of reading and writing. Not only has this given me much patience, but I know how to work with students of all ages. This past year I have been teaching middle school and elementary school aged children in the math and sciences. I have also been tutoring students in a broad range of subjects such as physics, algebra, geometry, reading, writing, test prep (SAT, FCAT), as well as helping with homework. Additionally, I am a fast learner and I excel in taking complicated information and presenting it in an easy-to-understand format. I am very dedicated and hard-working, and as a recent graduate, I have a very flexible schedule.
