Hi there,

I have been tutoring math for years of success. My students have always gone on to college with confidence in their math skills. They were able to pick a degree with out worrying about the math requirements.( math is a bigger consideration when looking at degrees then you would think)

I got very interested in math when I started homeschooling my own children. I was lucky to have been taught' hands on math" at a private school in Ca. using the math program of Mary Laycock. I retaught myself math with counters at first base ten blocks and many more types of manipulative, the enfasis on base ten.

I could go on about my feelings towards math and the way it is taught but, I will stop here, if interested in tutoring call we will talk. I have taught myself math through algebra, geometry,. trig and pre-calculus.
