One of my main goals when tutoring students in math is to increase their confidence. I have been tutoring math for over 6 years one-on-one, and tutored at Seminole State College and Belhaven University. During this time, I have worked with elementary, middle, high school, and college students. I have also had background checks done for the school board in Seminole and Orange counties. Several years ago I went back to college to pursue a business degree. I had the opportunity to tutor fellow students and discovered my passion for teaching. Since then, I have earned an Associates degree in math education. I have worked with all learning styles, have experience with some learning disabilities, and can easily adapt to a student's needs. I am very patient and very good at breaking down math problems and concepts.
