Successful students are confident have a good future. Many students unnecessarily fail or struggle, because schools do not identify or address their needs. In over 35 years of experience with preK-12, each of my students typically gained 2-4 years academic growth in less than a school year. Using a quick assessment technique, I can target and directly teach to the student's unique learning needs. This means I identify weak or missing critical skills that prevent the learner from achieving to his/her potential. When parents need to limit expenses, I can teach them the easy, simple and efficient ways I use to develop children's skills.

For reading instruction, I use a combination approach of phonics, syllabication, word families, and sight words. Additionally I work on reading comprehension through language development and sentence and paragraph analysis (including context and inference skills).

For math instruction, I focus on both basic skills (all operations) and the logical reasoning required for math problem solving.

For writing instruction, I focus on oral language development, logical reasoning skills, spelling and handwriting (or word processing) skills.

For study skills and organization instruction, I focus on the cognitive reasoning skills that build the skills and show the student ways to compensate for any difficulties.
