Tutor in Brooklyn, NY 11206

I have just completed my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and have recently moved to Brooklyn, NY. I have spent the last year tutoring Algebra and A.P. U.S. History and most recently completed my student teaching at Kinsella Magnet School of the Performing Arts where I taught Civics/Government full time and tutored middle school reading in the afternoons. I also have experience working at a summer camp where I was a cooking instructor for children ages 5 - 17.

I believe one of the best qualities in a tutor is patience. I have plenty of patience and am willing to take it slow. I think that one of the first problems that students have is organization. Once the student is organized learning will become easier for them. Everyone has a different learning style and it is necessary to figure out what type of learner you are before we begin with content so I can develop a plan specifically for your learning needs.
